    Abstract :
    The present study investigates the usage of library resources by the student teachers for their teaching learning process. This study becomes very relevant because the attitude of the students could affect the success or failure depending upon the library use to a larger extent. The study suggests possible ways on how to encourage students to make use of library for their course of study to improve in their performance. Also suggest possible solutions in an effort to enhance effective teaching and learning which would culminate into good performance. The whole process of education is shaped and molded by the human personality called the teacher who plays a pivotal role in any system of education. Teaching is a challenging profession and only those teachers that can shoulder the heavy responsibilities of nation building, they are those that are adequately prepared and have sound professional attitude.
