    Abstract :
    Cotton mill industry is one of the top businesses in national and international level, India is a land of villages where Agriculture is consider as the main occupation and industries are sub professions. Cotton is one of the productions of agriculture and the cotton clothes have place in world market. India was well known for its textile goods since ancient times. The cotton textile industry however made its real beginning in Bombay, in 1850s. The first cotton textile mill of Bombay was establish in 1854 by a Parsi cotton merchant then engaged in overseas and internal trade. The first cotton mill at Ahmadabad established in 1861, eventually to emerge as a rival center to Bombay.
