    Abstract :
    Human Development and Economic Growth are positively related. Better human development contributes to economic growth and higher economic growth provides more resources for human development. It is worldwide proved that higher human development is essential for well-being of country. Education and Health are the two key variables of human development. In a developing country like India where still there is moral need for betterment in the human development provides better scope to increase economic growth by enhancing human development. Within India, at the inter-state level the scenario of human development as disparities which called for need to focus more on backward states for increasing human development. The present study is focused upon inter-state analysis of human development on the basis of educational based indicators.
